Our Story…

Rooted. Raised. In East Tennessee.

When we purchased the land that would become Russell State Line Farm, the initial plan was to grow and raise good food for our extended family who live and work across East Tennessee. Soon enough, we added Idaho Pasture Pigs, sassy chickens, and a happy herding dog to the farm - deciding to expand operations to provide good food to our community. Family remains at the heart of our farm as we raise the next generation of future farmers - close to the land, with a deep respect for nature.
